Success with ANR !

Great news of the day ! The National Research Agency (ANR) has decided to fund our SUBGLACIOR project, that I submitted in January with Olivier Alemany (head of the technical team of LGGE). Only 28 projects were selected in the scientific domains covering astronomy and astrophysics, Earth sciences, environmental research and risk assessment. The design and construction of our in-situ probe will thus start very rapidly. If the European ERC selection committee also decides to support our ICE&LASERS project next Fall, different technological solutions could then be tested for the probe, and the laboratory developments based on OF-CEAS technology would add on this exciting new scientific and technological adventure.
