Some fresh blood

After a long recruitment procedure, we are very happy to welcome a new Associate Professor in the CLIPS team : Olga Zolina, a Russian specialist of statistical climatology.

This excellent news adds on the other one of the recruitment of Xavier Faïn as Research Associate at CNRS, in the section number 19 (ranked first at the end of the competition). Xavier will pursue our research on carbon monoxide and its isotopes in firn air and ice cores, a virtually virgin topic with very promising outlook for a better understanding of the carbon cycle / atmospheric chemistry / climate interactions. This is a big relief for the "gas" team at LGGE.
